29 days until spring training

yes, that's right. March 2nd is the first spring training game. So far it has been a pretty uneventful offseason. And the Indians have done pretty much nothing in terms of free-agency. Which is fitting, because they did nothing from April until October of last year as well.
Because it is baseball, I am naturally excited for the upcoming season, however, with the continuing lackluster nature of my Indians, I am torn between excitement and perpetual "sangry". The below video is a pretty good representation of my emotions.

Correction, friend. Spring training starts in 16 days - that's when pitchers and catchers begin reporting to some of the big-league camps. Baseball is even closer than you think!

I have long asserted that the seasons are to be measured by baseball:

Spring begins when pitchers and catchers report.
Summer begins on Opening Day.
Autumn begins when the playoffs begin.
The long, cold winter starts when the World Series is over.

Spring is nearly here!

Uneventful offseason?!

The Roy Halladay/Cliff Lee three-way trade, the Curtis Granderson and Javier Vazquez trades, Jason Bay leaving Boston, the dismantling of the Angels and re-loading of the Mariners?! Uneventful?
