...then you are not a sports fan.
Hats off to Duke and Butler on a terrific game and terrific seasons. Alas, if only Heyward had taken just a teeny bit off each of those last two shots.

I very much enjoyed the game but really didn't care for the outcome. I'm bummed for Butler, they were soooooooo close.
Absolutely agreed. Outstanding game. So close on Heyward's shot to having the best ending ever for an NCAA Championship....
I keep thinking back to the Butler Center's quality looks in the first ten minutes. IF... he had knocked down a few FG it would have kept him out of foul trouble.
Sigh
sigh is right. it was an amazing game all night... kept saying butler couldn't do it, but really, one extra basket was the entire difference. i still don't understand why the last play out of the timeout was a gordon hayward isolation play (he had the ball the entire time from the top to the bottom), resulting in a baseline-fade-a-way. where's the creativity? where's the deception? where's a backup plan in case zoubek chases him out of the lane? ugh. i can't complain too much, coach brad stevens got butler within a basket of winning the whole thing. if i had a time machine to go back to 3 weeks ago, i wouldn't have believed it.
