Getting poorly-written, biased, and factually inaccurate sports pieces from ESPN is commonplace. Getting opinions on which people we should or shouldn’t like is apparently the next frontier for the so-called “Worldwide Leader.” From today’s Daily Quickie:
“Bednarik blasphemes: Asked if he was a Reggie White fan, Chuck said, ‘Not really...At the time there was something about him that I just despised.’ Yikes.”
Yikes? Jeez, Shanoff, you’d think Reggie White was a saint the way you’re so offended by someone expressing their negative view of the now-deceased NFL Hall of Famer. The guy was an anti-Semite and a homophobe so it’s not like some people don’t have the right to hate his guts, even after his passing. Stick to getting the fact wrong – it’s the one thing you’re actually good at – leave the personal politics pieces to someone else.
