Furthering the Blogoswarm

When we opened the blog it was supposed to be an open forum, insightful analysis and a place for cheap immature jokes. Often times it was aimed a poking ESPN in the eye for its craptacular nature. In recent months ESPN has not been worthy of mention given that among us blogofolk is pretty much accepted as craptacular . However one of the interesting phenomenons (not just in sports but also politics) is that actual journalism is happening on the blogosphere and in many ways replacing the half hearted efforts at journalism that occur at Bristol (or the washingtonpost but thats a separate story).

In any event just to help get the word out and show that well maybe there is hope for sports journalism in today's day and age MGOBLOG has reported that Kirk Ferentz has been offered the UofM Head Coaching job. For those that are unaware MGOBlog was the blog that broke the Carr retirement story first so hey consider them reliable. And its out before Mark May can (snirk) report on it.
