Hypocrisy

Vince Carter called out Kobe Bryant for scoring 81 points. His point of contention? That kids might turn into mini-Kobes, eschewing the team-oriented style of play that a guy like Vince Carter embodies so well. Oh wait, I forgot, Vince made his name in the NBA as a score-first, no defend gunner on a mediocre Toronto team. He then quit on his team, forced his trade out of town for pennies on the dollar and reinvented himself a score-first, no defend gunner on a mediocre New Jersey team. How lacking in self-awareness can Vince Carter be? Could it be that Vince is jealous that he’s no longer considered a top 10 NBA player? Is he jealous that for all of his posturing in Toronto his reward was being traded to a team that plays in the state of New Jersey? I don’t like Kobe but from now on, I’m rooting for Kobe to torch Vince for 65 every time they go head to head. Any way you cut it, Vince Carter is a pathetic hypocrite.
