Alas, we will not be able to call former NBA bust Shawn Bradley "Representative Bradley".
Darn.

Wow, I had no idea that freak-show was running for office. I assume he's a conservative Republican, like most Mormons? If so, his loss is the gain of the other 307,999,999 residents of the United States. The last thing this country needs is another theocratically-inclined politician.
The funny thing is that he is a dual "German-American citizen something that I did not know. The funnier thing is that he lost to a Democrat...I thought they kicked all of the Democrats out of Utah the day that Brigham Young set foot into the territory with his 50 wives, 500 kids and 5000 grandkids. That must really suck to be a Democrat in the State Legislature in Utah.
Wow, I'm amazed a Democrat won. Even better!
@Hitman - Great catch. I knew that Chris Dudley lost in Oregon but had no idea about Bradley. What's the deal with white NBA players and the Republican Party?
Bill Bradley is offended by that last comment.
I think the issue is money. Dudley and Bradley both sucked shit at basketball but played in an era where they earned incredible salaries and could afford to become Republicans.
Bradley, despite being Princeton educated and independently wealthy, came from a different time. He's one of the good guys (although his presidential campaign was a sorry joke).
@MJ - This is a different Bradley... Shawn Bradley. Not Bill Bradley!
In terms of white athletes, did anyone else notice that former NFL tackle Jon Runyan made it to congress?
