Nice move by the Colts getting Corey Simon. I don't think this is a make or break Super Bowl move for them but, in my mind, there is no doubt that this is an impact move for the much-maligned Colts D. They now have a pass-rushing guy on the interior who can also play the run. This move should help Dwight Freeney get loose in the backfield even more than he has been the last two years. This should also help the morale of the club. This lets the defensive players know that the GM and coaching staff is serious about going after quality players to help them beat the Patriots in 2005.
By the way, I understand why the Eagles let him go (depth) but I don't understand why the Eagles are so over-confident this year. It's not like the rest of the NFC will simply bow down to the defending conference champs. Here's hoping that the Eagles fall flat on their smug faces. Andy Reid's fat-faced smirk belongs back in the state of Utah. I hate the Eagles.
