All Hail Barry

Everyone on this blog already knows how much I love Barry Sanders so this blog shouldn't be a surprise. But I was looking over the records for the NCAA to figure out the amount that Ricky Williams had and I came across some of Barry Sanders records. In the single season records books his 1988 season was absolutely ridiculous. He had 39 total TDs throughout the season, which averages to be 21.3 points per game. He had 2628 yards rushing for the year which is 238.9 yards per game. And he had a 3250 all purchase yards for the year which is about 295.5 yards per game. That is a number that most QBs don't even get close to throwing for. If he was a fantasy player for that year, he would have around 570 points...these are records that I don't think will be broken.
