I was thinking of blogging this and then decided against it, but since it involves our favorite person Stephen A. Smith, I figured I would give it a shot. I just read this article by John Clayton on ESPN.com:
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/trainingcamp05/columns/story?columnist=clayton_john&id=2125684
and can not say how much I enjoy hearing what Brett Favre says. The best lines out of the article are:
"What I want to do is make this team better," the future Hall of Fame quarterback said. "Other players chime in and pop off about comments about teammates, but what are their comments doing? It's the same thing. I never meant to create all this whatever. All I'm concerned about is helping this team win and doing this with all my guys."
Donovan McNabb just needs to shut the fuck up and realize he is not even in the same league as Favre. Last time I checked, Favre has won a Super Bowl and has started in 200+ straight games. While McNabb was nursing the flu or his broken leg, Favre was popping the Vicodin and going out onto the field to play. Donovan, why don't you concentrate on how bad your team chemistry before you talk about one of the best quarterbacks and all around team players in the history of the game.
I think that Donovan and Favre should have a steel caged match and Favre can pull a Nolan Ryan and just put him in a headlock and start pummelling him.

Don't worry about a thing... McNabb is on the cover of Madden this year, so he will have enough to worry about this year. No one, I mean NO ONE, survives the Madden curse!!!!!!!
Ray Lewis kinda survived it last year but I was thinking the exact same thing when I was drafting for Fantasy Football. I will never ever draft someone on the front cover of Madden.
